Purchasing VLAB – Things you should know

Requesting a Quote

Customers are invited to request a quote through the shopping cart for items which they are interested in purchasing. Once a request has been submitted, you will be contacted to confirm the details and arrange payment through direct bank transfer. Delivery of software and licenses will be completed on receipt of the funds, with arrangements for short term or trial licenses available upon request to sales@vlabworks.com.

Downloads

After a trial or purchase has been confirmed, download links will be provided via email.

Licenses

Licenses are enabled for 1 year from date of delivery. Options for renewal will be emailed 1 month prior to expiry.

VLAB uses the Reprise License Manager (RLM) to manage licenses. An environment variable can be set to point to a license file or RLM server installed on your network.

Support

Customers will be notified and offered updates to the product, should they become available. Support is available through email while active licenses are held.

Environment Requirements

While VLAB will run on many host configurations, higher performance will produce a better user experience. As a useful minimum we recommend a machine that is generally less than 3 years old, was in the upper half of available clock frequency at time of release, and was configured with 50% or more of maximum RAM.

VLAB is available running under Microsoft Windows 10 or Linux (RHEL/CentOS 6 & 7, Ubuntu 16.04 & 18.04). Note that some Virtual Hardware targets are only available on one of Windows or Linux.
